Our mission is to provide volunteers with a customized program (workcamp, short term, long term) that will enable them to make an important contribution to the poor and needy kids of India. In the past several years, we have placed many volunteers around various parts of India within different projects.

Our placements include:

  • Office Assistance
  • Field Work
  • Health and Sanitation
  • Music & Dance Training
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Food Preparation & Distribution
  • Community Development Projects

Our foremost goal is to "Bring a Smile to Every Child." We ensure that all volunteers are provided with a safe and enriching experience. Our flexible approach means that you will be given a placement to suit your needs and time scale. There are many other attractions that SMILE volunteers can enjoy, including discounted rates for trekking, rafting, and various safari trips including the Ganges. Through our summer mini tour & summer express tour programm. All international students are also welcome to take part in our Internship Programme. Our unique placements could become the trip of a lifetime.

"It's special experience for me this summer during this 2 weeks. I have a great time with the children but it's a pity that the time is too short. I can not call every child's name, but I hope maybe there is a little change for these children. I want to come back here again."

"I think it's a special experience in my 2 weeks. Kids are really cute and I have good times with them.If possible I might come here again for these children.we have learned a lot from them as well .By this programm i could reach the real local people in this country.May be next time, I will bring some material for them and learn a little Bengali which could make me close to them (this is also a suggestion of mine to other volunteers)."
